
New Zealand's wine making is famous for zippy, gooseberry laced Sauvignon Blanc, most notably the brand of Cloudy Bay in Marlborough, that really kicked things off for the UK. Although a lovely wine, the Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir that lurks from the smaller producers are absolutely delicious and well worth investigating; Felton Road, Pegasus Bay, Isabel and Greywacke to name but a few
