Tasting Notes
Vinous 90
In the 2019 Grand Mayne, sweet red cherry, mint, crushed flowers, licorice, pine and pipe tobacco add a very pretty aromatic upper register to this mid-weight, charming Saint-Emilion.
Robert Parker 90
The 2019 Grand Mayne opens in the glass with aromas of plums, cloves, cherries and creamy new oak. Medium to full-bodied, rich and chewy, with a muscular chassis of tannins, ripe acids and a long, saline finish, this is a chunky, extracted Saint-A milion that will require a bit of patience.
